Michiana
Cruisers 1st Annual Benefit Car and Truck Show
Benefiting the Berrien County Council for Children
Children's Assessment Center of Berrien County
July 24th, 2005
Stop In Restaurant
Niles, MI
This car show was the first car
show completely organized and ran by the Michiana Cruisers and it
was a complete success. There were a total of 85 registered
cars and we had 30 cars from club members alone. Hart City
Street Rods took the Club Participation award with about 13 cars.
They came in as a unit & looked great! All clubs were welcome
to show their banners. We would like to thank Gary the owner
of the Stop In Restaurant for offering his land for us to use for
our show. The people from the Berrien County Council for
Children - Children's Assessment Center had a booth at the show so
everyone could stop by & ask questions or buy shirts & bracelets to
help support all the abused kids in our area. We always have
to thank our resident DJ Joe Carroll, WJOE, for all the good music
he played all day & in the heat (heat index over 117 degrees F).
After this show, there is no doubt that the Michiana Cruisers are
back and stronger than ever. Many Michiana Cruisers that helped
keep this show running smooth, from registration to selling all the
tickets, to parking cars, and to picking up trash barrels at the end
of the day.
