Our 3rd Annual Benefit Car Show was a resounding
success! This year there were 171 registered entrants, whereas
last year there were only 107 registrations...so that was a huge
improvement. Not only that, but there were over 30 Michiana
Cruiser Club Member cars, so in total we broke the 200 mark for
actual car count. Of course, Michiana Cruiser cars aren't
eligible for awards. The participants brought some absolutely
awesome vehicles, which made judging extremely difficult.
Everyone should be so proud of their cars, they did a wonderful job
and we are truly grateful to all that attended our show.
This was our first year at the McCoy Creek Park in
Buchanan, Michigan. It is such an excellent venue, with lots
of shade, mowed grass, a nice creek, shelter, picnic tables, and
other nice features. With that in mind, we absolutely promise
that the Porta-Potty issue will not occur again next year! We
will have adequate, non-vandalized facilities next year!
The Buchanan City Fire Department put on an
excellent pancake breakfast and the Buchanan High School Girls
Softball team served up a great lunch to the masses. And as
always the folks from the
Berrien County Council for Children
Children's Assessment Center of Berrien Countywere in
attendance helping us in anyway that was possible. We were
able to raise significant funds for their organization this year.
We want to give thanks to all of the club members
that donated their time and energy to put on this show...it's no
easy feat! Also, we would like to thank our sponsors and
the Trophy Connection
for making excellent trophies and dash plaques for us once again
this year.
