2004 5th Annual South Haven
Festival of Cars
July 10, 2004
What a beautiful day it was at the South Haven
Festival of Cars. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. to find that it was
already almost FULL! We ended up parking on a side street,
which worked out well because we had a grassy area to setup a
canopy. There was a wide variety of cars from a 1904 buggy car
to a Delorean. During the day they had an excellent 50's-60's
band playing music and there were many door prizes given out as
well. South Haven is such a nice town and it provided a great
environment for the show. One thing that I think they should
add next year are some porta-potty units...it was quite a hike to
get to the only public facility in town. This show gives
awards based off of participant choice ballots and the trophies were
quite nice.
If you are looking for a nice car show to attend
in a beautiful setting, make sure to check out this show next year.
